Z-Cam Setup
Synchronization
The Sync cable DOES NOT work. The S6 is missing a connector.

The best option is ezLink as they call it. It is based on PTP synchronization:

Use a USB powered switch when on the go, e.g.:

Setup
- Run ptp4l on the computer
- Make one camera multi-cam (ezlink) master
- Make all other cameras multi-cam (ezlink) slave
Either
- set one camera to ethernet direct (DHCP server) and the others to DHCP or
- set all cameras to ethernet DHCP (client) and start an external DHCP server.
Make sure all cameras have the same exposure (shutter) time.
Make sure all cameras have the same project fps.
When one camera is DHCP master (direct mode) then all cameras will receive IP addresses in the 10.98.32.X range. In this case they are detected automatically by CapturyLive. No configuration has to be performed.
If the cameras use an external DHCP server CapturyLive cannot know which IP they have and they have to be configured manually:
- Open the config file under ~/.config/theCaptury/CapturyLive.conf
- Find the entry dhcpInterfaces
- Add the IP addresses to the key separated by ; e.g. dhcpInterfaces="192.168.0.100;192.168.0.101"
